ABOUT US
Experienced. Knowledgeable. Professional.
My name is Josh McClain. Unlike most professionals you hire, you probably won’t meet me until our appointment. Furthermore, different inspectors have varying qualifications, equipment, experience, reporting methods, and pricing. Ultimately, a thorough home inspection depends heavily on the individual inspector’s own effort. If you honor me by permitting me to inspect your new home, I guarantee that I’ll give you my very best effort. As a Certified Professional Inspector®, It’s an honor working for my home-buying clients and helping them make smart decisions. Feel free to contact me for anything, at anytime.
When it comes to Northcentral Pennsylvania area real estate, there’s no one better to turn to than West Branch Inspections. Services Offered
RESIDENTIAL HOME INSPECTION
As one of my most popular services, these appointments tend to fill up fast. No matter what real estate need you have, rest assured that I will provide all the resources and guidance you need to succeed.
WOOD-DESTROYING INSECTS
Termites often go unnoticed until the damage they have done is extreme and costly. By scheduling a Termite Inspection, you can catch the problem while it is still controllable and reversible.
CERTIFIED RADON TESTER
Radon is the leading cause of lung cancer among non-smokers. It is highly recommended that every home be tested often, even those with mitigation systems should be tested every few years. We will perform your radon test and provide a report to follow that will show the average radon concentration in your home. PA DEP Certification I.D 3414
SEPTIC SYSTEM TESTING
Septic systems need to have regular maintenance and inspection. One of the most expensive components of a home is the wastewater treatment system, and many times these systems are neglected, due to being underground and out of sight. The routine maintenance inspection is designed for inspectors to perform a routine maintenance inspection using visual-only, non-invasive inspection techniques; and report to our clients the location of the system components; a pre-pumping inspection of the levels in the tank, a septic dye test; visual inspection of the tank and absorption area, as well as any maintenance recommendations. Our reports include a list of helpful information for homeowners with a wastewater treatment system and is very useful for individuals that may have never had a private onsite septic system.
WELL WATER TESTING
Well water testing. WBI offers well water testing for the main categories such as total coliform, fecal coliform, E.coli, nitrates, nitrites, PH level, volatile organic compounds, lead, arsenic, mercury, radium, atrazine, pesticides. Well water may contain thousands of different biological and chemical contaminants, and the laboratories we use will only test for those contaminants specifically identified by the client. The water test represents a “snapshot” of the presence of the specified contaminants in the water sample(s) at the time of the collection, and that laboratory results do not necessarily reflect the number of contaminants that may be present in the future. We offer the required testing for specific types of loans such as VA, FHA, etc..
