“Verifying your first impression can save you time and money”
Home Inspections are to help both: “Buyer and Seller”. A “Seller” inspection can be performed prior to the home being shown to help them comply with full disclosure laws, as well as to inform them of problems and repairs to be made before showing the home. It also helps avoid the possibility of lawsuits after a sale. It also helps your broker attract buyers and close sales faster. The buyer, is obviously helped by an inspection before they make a home purchase. It gives them an honest and impartial report of the home’s condition. |

Joseph R. Mosley,
I have been in the Construction industry for over 30 years. Most of my experience has come in a significant portion, from the flooring industry. I started out as a laborer with my father on many projects and as I developed my own skill sets and educational knowledge, I specialized mostly in the Tile, Granite and Marble field. I also worked for 6 years in the Communication tower industry as a Field Operations Manager over construction practices. I have been a laborer, manager and business owner for most of my adult life and believe “hands on” experience is the best anyone can have. I have held OSHA credentials in construction health & safety for over 15 years. I studied Home Inspecting with AHIT in 2016 and started my own inspection business in February of 2017. I am a member of ASHI, starting out as an “associate member” and currently hold the “Inspector” status and should soon if not already, as I have lost count be at the “Certified Inspector” status within the organization, once my affidavit is submitted/ approved. I have previously received and trained in Radon testing through Spruce Environmental Technologies however, decided not to add that to my companies list of services to be offered at this time but I do find the knowledge/ education I gained to be important. I want to help people understand and keep their homes a structurally sound, stable and healthy environment in which to live and raise their families. I recently gained knowledge and education through ECAN’s “Certified Mold Assessor Technician” Course and I am expanding my companies’ services to included Certified Mold Assessments/ Testing. I Currently operate as owner and inspector of/ for Forthright Home Inspections, LLC. Located in Horton/ Douglas, Alabama. I have passed both the ASHI Standards of Practice Exam and the National Home Inspectors Examination. I am properly licensed and insured to operate a legitimate business in the State of Alabama by State of Alabama Building Commission.
