What is a webinar and how does it work?

A webinar is a live internet-based course being taught by Joseph Lyons, our instructor. This is not a prerecorded course which means you can interact with the instructor as the course is being taught. The webinar application allows you to type in questions, use a mic or computer mic. In any case, none of these audio options work for you, the application also provides a number to call in with your cell phone.

You do not need a webcam as the instructor will not be able to see you. Your screen will be split into two: The course presentation and the training room where the instructor will be teaching as if you were present in the room.

Upon signing up we will register you for the webinar which will send you a reminder one day before the first day of training and one hour before the webinar starts. We will also send you emails to reminds you and to provide you with a password that you will use to join the webinar. The email will also include a course manual, EPA Guides, and hand-outs that are given out in a live classroom. These will also be available on the webinar application or if you prefer the printed course material we can ship it to you at an additional cost. At the end of the course, there will be an online timed exam which you must complete to receive your certificate of completion. The exam does not need to be complete on the second day, but it is advised.

The presentation is also recorded so the student can review it 7 days after the live presentation in any case you missed something or you wish to review the content before heading into your first job.

If you are based in or around Pennsylvania you can also attend this course live in classroom
