The 16-hour Radon Measurement Technician course is for those who are entering into Radon measurement or as a pre-requisite for Radon mitigation. The 16-hour course will teach individuals the methods that are used in radon testing for real estate purposes and individual homeowner tests. Our course will also explore how and where to market your new professional service and explain to your client the next steps to take after the initial radon test results.
You will receive a printed course manual, a copy of the EPA Home Buyer’s and Seller’s Guide to Radon, A Citizen’s Guide to Radon, EPA Consumer’s Guide to Radon Reduction, and State licensing requirements plus many other items to include coupons for free Radon testing devices and discounts.
This course is approved for the State/National recognized exam.
The course is taught by Joseph Lyons, who has been in radon measurement, mitigation, and consulting for 26 years. Joe Lyons is a very thorough instructor who focuses on explaining everything as simple as it can be explained. Joe takes pride in being able to deliver the right information in a way that anyone taking the course will understand. Understanding the best practices for radon measurement is key to running a successful business and we make sure our students are prepared for it.

We can proctor the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRSB) Exam on the second day. The exam must be purchased two weeks ahead of the course date.
